Libra Care offers its services, which consist of personal care activities and enablement services to a range of individuals suffering with a disability or overcoming illness. These activities although not exhaustive cover the following:



•Dressing and undressing

•Help with personal and intimate hygiene

•Toileting and continence management

•Eating, drinking and meeting any special dietary requirements

•Medication Management and monitoring

•Mobility and monitoring the use of aids and adaptations

•Emotional, social and psychological support


We also offer support to get to or attend appointments, light shopping and domestic duties.


The support needs of an individual will be assessed, designed and implemented in line with agreed ways of working and by both the service and the individual.


Due to our knowledge and experience within the Health and Social Care Sector, we will also support individuals to access other relevant services that may benefit their enablement programme and enhance positive outcomes. Examples of this could be supporting a customer to access occupational therapy services, advocacy or charitable organisations.


Libra Care will ensure that an up to date support plan is in situ prior to the commencement of any of our services, which allows for all significant parties to be fully informed and involved. Information held is governed by our Confidentiality Policy and Data Protection Legislation.


To comply with legislation and to ensure the safety and safeguarding of our customers, risk assessments will be undertaken that identify potential associated risks and incorporate ways in which these can be reduced or eliminated.
